A circular mat from another manufacturer, which had been supplied as a package deal with the doors themselves, was originally installed in the hotel's main revolving (circular) doors. Under the impact of continuous, extremely heavy foot traffic and outdoor elements, that mat quickly deteriorated and completely lost its functionality. The hotel management faced the reality that the original supplier does not offer and cannot provide any service or refurbishment for their products, which would normally demand a repeated, expensive purchase of an entirely new system.
In line with a long-standing tradition of quality, STILMAT provided the definitive solution. The entire system within the revolving doors was replaced with a brand-new, high-quality STILMAT circular aluminum mat, custom-engineered to surgeon-like precision.
Concurrently, at the other main entrances of the hotel—where STILMAT mats had been previously installed—our greatest market advantage was put on full display. Instead of being discarded and replaced, these existing mats were successfully dismantled, completely serviced, and refurbished at our production facility. Worn textile and rubber inserts were replaced, the aluminum framework was thoroughly cleaned, and the mats were restored to their original, factory-new appearance and full functionality.
