Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade represents a premium 4-star boutique hotel, located in the Savski Venac municipality. Built on the foundations of a preserved 19th-century steam mill, this unique property is a true architectural masterpiece that masterfully blends authentic industrial heritage with avant-garde modern design. As part of a prestigious global chain, this hotel sets the highest standards of hospitality, where every interior detail must exude luxury while providing maximum functionality and safety for guests from all over the world.
STILMAT mats were recognized from the very beginning as an indispensable part of this unique Belgrade facility, and they have been successfully installed across all entrance zones of the hotel. However, the high-traffic demands and luxury standards of such a space soon highlighted a clear difference between average and premium solutions on the market.
During the initial outfitting, a circular mat from another manufacturer, which arrived as part of the package with the doors themselves, was placed in the main revolving (circular) doors. Under the influence of intense daily guest foot traffic and weather conditions, that mat quickly deteriorated, lost its functional properties, and aesthetically compromised the luxury entrance to the hotel, as its quality could not meet the needs of a high-category facility. An additional problem for the hotel management arose when it turned out that the original supplier could not provide or perform any service or maintenance for their mats.
The solution was brought by STILMAT. The complete circular mat in the main revolving doors was replaced with a new, high-quality STILMAT aluminum system custom-made to precise measurements. This replacement once again confirmed the key advantage of our brand: STILMAT is the only one on the professional aluminum entrance mat market that provides a comprehensive service, maintenance, and refurbishment program.
For high-category hotels like Radisson Collection, this feature delivers long-term safety and financial benefits. Instead of an expensive and complicated replacement of the entire system when the inserts wear out over time, STILMAT enables quick, on-site replacement and servicing of segments. In this way, the entrance to this historic mill retains its flawless, luxurious look and maximum efficiency in trapping moisture and dirt, giving guests a safe and elegant first step.
